The public are invited to attend the Donegal County Museum for the launch of the ‘Donegal Museum Detectives’ by Dinny McGinley TD, Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.
The launch takes place this Friday, 18th October 12noon in Donegal County Museum, High Road, Letterkenny.
This fun and educational family backpack is available to borrow free of charge on your visit to the Donegal County Museum.
It contains a variety of activities which have been designed to engage children and families with the exhibitions.
Each pack contains ‘Donegal Museum Detectives’ pencils and badges, which are free to take home. There is also a Museum postcard you can use to tell your friends and family about your visit to the Donegal County Museum.
This project was funded by the Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht 2013 Scheme to assist Local & Regional Museums.
