Medical cards are being introduced for under fives.

The Letterkenny-based Senator said “This commitment by Minister Alex White is good news for many families and it paves the way for the future universal health care.

“The Labour Party has made this a core policy issue and have been committed to have this in place.

“This is being delivered in times of economic difficulty but it will make a difference to over 250,000 families and many families in Donegal who are hit with medical bills they sometimes can’t afford. ”
