EIGHT NAMES ALREADY IN THE FRAME FOR HARPS MANAGER’S JOB

At least eight candidates have put their names forward for the vacant Finn Harps manager’s position.finn harps logo

The position arose following the recent resignation of former Derry City star Peter Hutton.

Names such as Sean O’Connor, Donal O’Brien, Trevor Scanlon and Sean ‘Wizzard’ McGowan have already been linked with the post.

It is expected that a number of other candidates will apply for the post.

A number of players from the current squad have already expressed an interest in staying on for next season.

The new manager is likely to bring in a number of new players but again his budget will be very limited.

Despite a great start to the season, Harps faded badly during the second half of the season and finished a disappointing third from bottom despite challenging for prime position early on.
