DD LOCAL – DRUMKEEN TO HOST HUGE SALE OF WORK

Drumkeen Fun WalkDRUMKEEN NOTES

A fun walk will take place this Sun 03rd Nov at 2 pm, leaving Drumkeen hall going towards Jimmy Gallagher’s garage, turn right towards Breen and right again taking the back road past Charlie Quinn’s and finishing at the hall. High visibility vests to be worn and all children must be supervised. Refreshments served afterwards in the hall, registration is only €5 and all proceeds going to the local St. Vincent De Paul Society.

 

Drumkeen Parish Sale of Work

A sale of work will take place on Fri 08th Nov in Drumkeen Hall commencing at 8 pm. Loads of bargains to be got on the night, Items include oil, coal, sticks, household goods, toys and even a few sheep, etc. etc. Anyone wishing to donate items please contact the chairman of the parish committee John Haughey on 074 9134272 / 086 2107334 or any committee member. All proceeds in aid of the parish hall.

 

Drumkeen Youth Club

Youth Club continues this Fri 01st Nov in St. Patrick’s hall from 7.30-9.30 pm. Please note the new time schedule. Membership for 2013/2014 is now closed as we have reached our quota of leader per member ratio. Reminder that we are taking part in the Fun walk on Sun 03rd Nov organised by The St. Vincent De Paul Society. The walk is leaving Drumkeen hall at 2 pm. We would encourage as many members as possible to support this worthy cause.

 

Irish Conversational Classes

 

Classes begin on Tues 05th Nov in St. Patrick’s hall from 7-9 pm. and is part funded by Donegal ETB (formerly VEC). The course is now fully booked.
