One fan’s foot today after she was trampled

DONEGAL music fans have spoken of their terror at a country music jamboree in Co Tyrone – after teenage thugs vomited over them.

Thousands of people from all over the North West descended on the Jamboree in the Park in Fintona last night.

Derek Ryan and Nathan Carter were headlining the event.

“The place was coming down with 14-year-olds and most of them were blocked out of their heads,” said one Donegal country music fan.

“The place was jammed full and I was seriously afraid of what could happen.

“At one stage a teenager came up to our table and vomited over us. It was mayhem, with one way in and one way out.”

Fans have been getting their money back from organisers today.

Thousands of people who had tickets to the event were refused entry, with several bus loads from Donegal turned away.

Several people say they were trampled in the massive crowds – with one fan posting a picture of her sister’s badly bruised leg afterwards.
