Children are invited to enter their Christmas Card design featuring an animal of their choice from Dublin Zoo.

Six winners will be selected to have their design featured on one of the Dublin Zoo official Christmas cards and receive a Dublin Zoo family annual pass and goodie bag!

As Dublin Zoo is a registered charity, all proceeds from the sales of the cards will go towards the upkeep of the animals at the Zoo and towards conservation projects Dublin Zoo supports.

Children can enter in one of the following categories, Age 3-6, Age 7-10 and Age 11-15 with two winning designs being selected from each category. Entrants should submit their designs by Thursday 14th November to be in with a chance to see their masterpiece as this year’s Dublin Zoo Christmas card.

Director for Dublin Zoo, Leo Oosterweghel, said; “We are delighted to launch the Dublin Zoo Design a Christmas Card competition across Ireland and we are very excited to see the designs children in Donegal will submit featuring their favourite animal from Dublin Zoo”.

The entry requirements are as follows;

· Your entry should be on paper which is A4 in size

· The work that you submit may be drawn or painted in pencil, charcoal, pen and ink, crayon, pastel, watercolour, acrylics, oils or poster colour
