Sometimes you’ve got to let your feet do the taking.

And that exactly what students in Raphoe did when Deele Colege organised a Charity Football Tournament for Primary Schools.

Deele College third year students Demi-Leigh O Kane, Kenan Gibson, Charles Dooher, Alex Carolan, Keelan Kilpatrick and Anthony Bogle orgainised a football blitz for the 5th and 6th class pupils from Raphoe Central School and St. Eunans National school in Raphoe.Deele 1

The competition was organised as part of their CSPE action project in aid of the Ballytrim House intellectual disability unit in Raphoe.

Congratulations to the Ireland team who won the blitz; Anton Murtagh, Gareth Russell, Matthew Russell, Ciara O Brien, Conor Friel, Jessica Duffy and Katie Allen beating Brazil in the Final.

Well done to the Boy player of the tournament Anton Murtagh and the Girl player of the tournament Labhaoise Wilson

A big congratulations to the golden boot winner Alex Buchannan.

A great days fun was had by all for a very good cause.

Mr MCNulty organised the event at the college.
