Letterkenny Rotary Club is running a night time 5k race and walk this Thursday in Aid of the Little Angels Hostel and Rotary Charities.

The Little angels hostel provides homes for 8 young adults who have no homes for themselves. Most of them have no parents. The hostel provides house parents who look after cooking and funding etc. They are presently running at a massive deficit due to cutbacks and any money raised through the winter wollie warmer is badly needed.Winter Woolie Warmer

The Charities that the Rotary Club support include the shelter box appeal which are at present doing outstanding work in Haiyan.

The event will take place at 9.30pm and participants are asked to wrap up warm. Each entrant will be given a High Vis vest and registration will take place in Divers Hyundai Garage from 7pm. Entry fee is €8
