COMMUNITY ALERT: HOME HEATING THIEVES STRIKE AGAIN

DD LOGO 2COMMUNITY ALERT: Oil thieves are operating in the Inishowen area this week.

Following robberies in several areas earlier this week the latest home to be robbed was in Newtowncunningham.

Homeowners should be aware that Gardai believe the home heating oil thieves are well-organised.

Homeowners should report any suspicious activity to Gardai immediately.

In particular watch out for lorries or tankers calling to your home pretending to be lost or looking for another home in your area; they may be casing your home for a robbery.
