By Louise Doherty: The Point Inn Quigley’s Point Friday night singles darta league is a dart league which started in September 2013.
In the League we have some of the best dart players in the county if not the country. The players travel from as far as Milford on a weekly basis fighting for their position in the league table.
There are two groups with 16 players in each group, each player plays each other 3 times through out the season.
Friday 22nd november was the pairs cup qualifers as each player at that point had played each other once. An open draw was done where the top 16 players in the league where paired with a player from the bottom 16.
There were 4 groups comprising of 4 teams where it was a round robin format with the top 2 in each group qualifying for the pairs cup final night. Friday the 29th November was the pairs cup quarter final, semis and final.
