A date has been set for the return of Donegal’s first marathon in 31 years.
Will the Donegal marathon get big numbers?
The idea was the brainchild of Letterkenny county councillor Dessie Larkin some months back.
And now an official date, August 24th, has been penciled in the race.
The official route for the 26.2 mile race has yet to be decided but it will be in and around Letterkenny town.
So enjoy the Christmas festivities because the training starts in January!
