The trek to see Santa in his lovely cottage in Glenveagh National Park in aid of St Vincent De Paul proved a huge success yesterday.

Santa looks like he is taking a little rest before his big journey!

Santa looks like he is taking a little rest before his big journey!

Organised by businessman and mountaineer Jason Black, the walk along the bridal path raised more than €600 for the deserving charity.

With just over two weeks left to the big day, Santa was in great form but looked a little tired as he prepared for his big journey!

And there was something all very familiar about the man himself.

Jason thanked all those who came to support the cause in what proved wonderful family day out.

A stunning setting and a great cause.

That wonderful Christmas feeling is beginning to spread across our wonderful county.

Santa's cottage was a busy place!
