MAN ESCAPES AFTER FIRE DESTROYS HOUSE IN GLENTIES

A fire has destroyed a house on the outskirts of Glenties.

The fire broke out last night just after 8pm.

Members of the fire service from Glenties and Killybegs as well as the ambulance service responded to the emergency call.

One man was treated at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.

Gardai are investigating the cause of the blaze.
