CHRISTMAS CHEER AS GOVERNMENT MAKES DONATION TO DONEGAL ANIMAL WELFARE GROUPS

new donkeysDonegal TD Dinny McGinley has welcomed the allocation of €23,400 for animal welfare in the county.

A grant of €21,000 has been sanctioned by Simon Coveney, T.D. Minister for Agriculture, Marine & Food for the Animals in Need Centre, Donegal Town.

Another €2,400 will be given to the Donegal Donkey Sanctuary, Raphoe.

Minister McGinley told Donegal Daily: “It is important that we do our utmost in providing the best care for animals in our county.

“Both organisations do incredible work for the welfare of animals in the county.”
