BALLYLIFFIN COASTAL CHALLENGE WINNER MICHAEL BLACKFITNESS guru Michael Black likes to build up an appetite for his Christmas turkey.

So he has organised a “light jog” 5k for Christmas morning – leaving the old Dunnes in Letterkenny at 9.30am.

So if you NEED to get out of the house tomorrow morning and fancy a jog, you can join him there.

Michael, who helps run Optimal Fitness in the town, has included fitness elements to all of his Christmas….including his shopping.

This is what he wrote on Christmas Eve in his Facebook page…….Xmas shopping done today on my bike. Benefit 1. No traffic jams. Benefit 2. Get fit as you shop. Benefit 3. As you shop you carry more which makes you work harder =harder workout =fitter you. Benefit 4. Rucksack gets heavier as you buy so you spend less =result. So next year get your bike out, strap on your rucksack and have a hassle free xmas shop.
