MERYL STREEP TO GET FIRST COPY OF THE CORRIGAN BROTHERS’ DONEGAL DITTY!

Last week we revealed how Hollywood legend Meryl Streep’s family come from Horn Head.

Since then her closest relatives have been tracked down and have pleaded with Meryl to come and visit them.

Now well-knwon Irish band The Corrigan Brothers have put the story to music.

The band famously released the song ‘There’s no one as Irish as Barack Obama.

That song charted all over the world as well as reaching over ten million you tube hits are recording a new song dedicated to the Irish Roots of Meryl Streep.

The band who attended President Obama’s Inauguration as well as being mentioned in his speech in College Green Dublin release the song as recent revelations about Streep’s ancestry establish her Irish roots.

The song , “There’s no as Irish as Meryl Streep” will be released in early February and the first copy will be sent directly to Meryl.

Guitarist and song writer with the band Brian Corrigan said “we are delighted that Meryl’s Donegal roots have been established and that the link to her great grandmother Grace Strain has been made known. e look forward to meeting Meryl and performing the song for her.

Corrigan Brothers will release their new album “Box of Tricks” in April before touring the USA/
