Tragic Dean Lafferty.

Tragic Dean Lafferty.

THERE were heartbreaking scenes today at the funeral of a Co Donegal teenager found dead at his home.

Dean Lafferty, who was 18, was found dead at his home at 94 Admiran Park, Stranorlar, earlier this week.

Gardaí are investigating his death amid reports he may have suffered a head injury in an attack in Letterkenny.

Tearful friends and family attended his Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Stranorlar, followed by interment in Drumboe cemetery earlier.

There were heartbreaking scenes as young friends and relatives hugged and comforted each other during the funeral Mass.
