The group catch up on the latest new on Donegal Daily.

The people of Creeslough say they are looking forward to reading Donegal Daily – after receiving funding for computer courses.

John Curran, a local election candidate for FG in the Glenties Electoral area, has secured funding for the delivery of basic IT courses to adult learners across Donegal under the Benefit4 scheme.

To date in Donegal twenty courses have been delivered to more than 160 people. Classes currently on offer in Creeslough, Dunfanaghy, Falcarragh, Dungloe and Tory to name but a few.

Mr Curran from Falcarragh stated “I am delighted to have been able to secure this funding as technology is now a vital part of life, it’s great to see people arriving at centres with their own IPADs, tablets and Laptops and walking out more confident and with the websites and apps they want to use added to their own computers”.

The group pictured are taking a class in the Creeslough Day Centre, and one of the aims they had at the beginning of the session was to have a look at Donegal Daily.

Course are available to community venues and participants across Donegal, if you would like to access a course for your area contact John Curran on 0868186035.
