The Minor Boys Div. 1 team had a good win over MacCumhaills last weekend and they have no game this weekend. The div. 2 team had no game but may have a rearranged game v N. Padraig, Lifford this weekend – keep an eye on social media for details.
The U14 Boys began their season last week. The Div. 3 team lost a great game in Glenswilly and they travel to Buncrana this week, throw-in 12 noon on Sunday. The Div. 2 team lost to MacCumhaills last week and they have a bye this week. The Div. 1 team had no game last week and they are at home to Downings this Sunday, throw-in 11:30am.
Comhghairdeas le Andy McGranaghan who is through to the Ulster final of Scór Sinisir. Andy gave a tremendous performance in the Ulster semi-final last Saturday night in Glenullin GAA Club in Co. Derry receiving three first places out of three to qualify for the Ulster final which will take place in Downpatrick, Co. Down on Saturday 22nd March. Ádh mór ar Andy agus go n-éirigh go geal leis.
Girls U14 Football training is on Thursdays at 6:50pm in Game On. Cost is €3 per night. Best of luck to all girls at the third round of county trials in Convoy this Saturday. The team travel to Derry on Sunday morning to play Steelstown at the Templemore Sports Complex. Bus leaves Tobins at 9.45am sharp. Returning at 1pm approximately.
Girls U16 Football training is on Wednesday’s in Game On between 6:50pm and 8pm. Cost is €3 per week.
U16 boy’s football training is beginning this Wednesday, March 12th at 5pm. This is for both teams.
We are taking part in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade this year. We need parents and Sunday morning / Friday evening Academy coaches to get involved as well to ensure safety of the children. Everyone is asked to meet at Tobin’s Service Station on the day at 2pm SHARP. Please bear in mind there will be road closures on the day, so please be in good time. The Parade finishes as you pass the Station House Hotel so kids can be collected / met around the McDonalds area.
Club Member Donnan Harvey is involved in the Save the Church Lane campaign and as part of the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations they are holding a Traditional Irish Music Session between 4pm and 6pm and they are looking for a few stewards to help out, contact Donnan if you can help on 086-3452457.
