MOTORIST WARNED TO STAY OFF THE ROADS UNTIL 2020

gavel1A MOTORIST caught driving despite being banned has been told he can’t drive again – until 2020.

Kieran Lynch; Prockliss Termon was stopped on April 30 2012 at Clonkillymore, Termon.

He was driving without a license or insurance, Letterkenny District Court heard.

Lynch was appearing back in court after completing a the Pro Social Drivers Course.

“I’m going to give him one more chance – I will not lock him up today,” said Judge Paul Kelly.

He gave Lynch a 6 months prison sentence, suspended for two years. He also bound him over to be of good behaviour for two years and banned him from driving for six years,

“The only reason you are not going to jail is because the organiser of the Pro Social Driving Course had good things to say about you,” said the judge.
