GAA NEWS – GLENSWILLY SENIORS AND RESERVES FACE FOUR MASTERS IN LEAGUE

The All County League begins this weekend with both the Reserve and Senior teams in action at home against Four Masters on Sunday at 1.30 and 3pm.

The U14 boys played Naomh Colmcille on Sunday last but came away with a defeat, they will play away to Letterkenny Gaels next Sunday at 11.30am. The Minor team return to action next weekend at home against St Eunan’s B, time to be confirmed.

The closing date for membership is fast approaching and you will have another chance this Thursday from 7 to 8.30 to pay it, this will be the second last chance to register for 2014 so please come along on Thursday night. Club Donegal membership is also available, the club are offering members a chance to get this at a reduced cost of €120 which gives admittance to all club games in Donegal. All coaches and adults working with underage players must be garda vetted, forms are available from George Simmons.

The club would like to congratulate Cormac Callaghan, Ryan Toner and Gary McDaid who were part of the St. Eunan’s College squad who won the McLarnon Cup on St Patrick’s Day, best wishes to them as they meet Carrick V.S. on Saturday. Best wishes also go to all the children from Glenswilly NS who will receive the sacrament of Confirmation on Saturday 22nd March and also to the pupils of Stramore NS who will be confirmed on Saturday 29th March.
