BUNDORAN’S  Magh Éne College has brought another Ulster gaelic football title back to Donegal tonight.

They swept aside Largy College, Clones, to lift the Corn Chuchulainn U-16B title on a scoreline of 3-12 to 0-08.

Declan Clancy, Conor Colreavy and Luke Towey got the vital scores.

Keeper Kevin Mulhearn even saved a penalty towards the end to crown a glorious day out for the college at the Athletics Grounds in Armagh.

In this year’s under 16 competition, the team came top of their section in the league before defeating Scoil Mhuire, Buncrana in the semi-final and then overcoming Moville Community College in a tightly contested county final.

In the Ulster competition they defeated St Patrick’s Ballymena and St Brigid’s, Derry en route to the final.

A number of past pupils have played intercounty football at Senior and Under 21 level. Some of these include James Keaney, Christy Keaney, Shane Mc Gowan, Michael McEniff and Peter McGonigle (Donegal), Paul Brennan, Stephen McGurran, Shane Ryan, Donal Clancy and Peter McGowan (Leitrim) as well as Gavin Gilsenan and Darren Gilsenan (Sligo).
