REPORT from Letterkenny Gaels: Letterkenny Gaels U14s took on Glenswilly at Pairc na nGael on Sunday morning.

Playing in dry but blustery conditions the Gaels started well winning most of the possession however the forwards were squandering many chances early on due mainly to the solid defence employed by Glenswilly.

Eventually Ronan Frain found his range opening the score for the Gaels, Ross Marley tagged on another point, before Glenswilly registered their first score of the day, this appeared to spurn the Gaels into life and they scored three points and a goal to leave the half-time score 1.4 to 0.2 in favour the Gaels.

The Gaels continued their good work in the second half scoring 1.7. Final score Gaels 2.11 Glenswilly 0.3. This was a great team effort, and thanks to Glenswilly for a good sporting game. We are away to Newtowncunnigham next week-end.
