GAA NEWS: FOUR MASTERS CHILDREN’S ACADEMY RETURNS

four masters gaa logoFour Masters Lotto: There was no jackpot winner this week. The lucky dip winners were Gerry Caldwell, Main Street, Donegal Town and Michael Feeney, Gortluskey. Numbers drawn were 8, 14, 19 and 23. Next weeks jackpot is at €1400. To play the lotto please visit www.fourmastersgaa.com

Under 8 Football: Under 8 football is back in Tirchonaill Park on Monday 31st March from 6.30pm – 7.30pm. All players to wear gum shields.

Under 10’s Girls Football: Football training for Under 10 girls has started and all girls are welcome. It takes place every Tuesday on the all weather pitch at Tirchonaill from 4.45 to 5.45. New members welcome. This is a great fun activity. It is a brilliant way to ensure that girls are fit and have a fantastic time staying fit and healthy while developing a great network of friends. Just come along.

Childrens GAA Academy: the hugely popular football and hurling academy is back in Tirchonaill Park. This extremely positive Academy caters for 4, 5, 6 and 7 year olds and will give kids the foundations to play Gaelic games. It runs on Saturday from11am until 12.30pm. Join Four Masters: Club Membership is now due in by the deadline of 31st March. Cost is €50.00 per adult over 18 years of age, this should be paid to Michael Martin Registrar (087) 6198905 as soon as possible or Paul Timoney (087) 2791305 for 2014 season. Ulster/ All Ireland Championship Ticket Allocation are based on club membership also voting rights at A.G.M. Mickey Martinn will be in the Abbey Hotel on Thursday 27th March to register members.

Games: Well done to the Senior Reserves who put in a fantastic performance against Glenswilly to come away deserved winners, Four Masters 2-11, Glenswilly 0-7. The Senior team missed out to Glenswilly; Four Masters 0-7, Glenswilly 0-9. Four Masters Minors put on a fantastic performance when they met Dungloe/Na Rossa. They were very unlucky to miss out. Four Masters 0-14, Dungloe/Na Rossa 1-12.
