A meeting of residents to set up a neighbourhood watch and text alert scheme in the Glenswilly/Churchill/Gartan area will take place in McClafferty’s Bar, Churchill on Wednesday (March 26th) at 8pm.GARDA

The meeting will be attended by Vanessa Clarke who will speak about the setting up of text alert schemes.

The last meeting attracted more than 100 local residents and it is hoped to attract a similar number again.

Although organisers admit the area has not seen a huge amount of burglaries in recent months, locals set they want to be pro-active against possible intruders coming into the area.
