Outlook – mild weather continuing right through the weekend before turning cooler into Monday, before warming up again midweek with temperatures up to 15C or 16C again by next Wednesday
FRIDAY … Apart from the odd passing shower it will be mild and bright at times across Co Donegal today, possibly the best day of the week so far. Showers – when they do appear – will be heavy. Highs of 14-16 C.
SATURDAY …Mainly cloudy on Saturday and temperatures will drop a couple of degrees but it will still feel mild. There is a possibility again of showers, turning to rain after dusk and driven by strong south to south-westerly winds. Highs of 12C-13C.
SUNDAY: Sunday will start breezy with rain at times, possibly thundery. Winds will ease in the afternoon and rain replaced by the odd shower. Highs of around 13C again, turning cooler on Sunday evening.
