The public are being asked to remain alert following suspicious activity in the St Johnston area this morning.Garda

Two vehicles containing five people were spotted in the Drumtoland area.

The first vehicle is a white van with a partial NUI registration.

The second is a silver family car with a partial registration of GIG.

People are asked to contact the Gardai if the cars are spotted in the area.

Locals say the cars may be simply visiting the area but a number of people have reported them acting suspiciously around houses and farmyards.
