PADDY’S VOICE OF IRELAND DREAM IS OVER AS HE MISSES OUT ON FINAL

paddy molloyDONEGAL singer Paddy Molloy is out of the Voice of Ireland.

The Glenties man was once again savaged by the judges, with Jamelia particularly harsh in her criticism of his performance in tonight’s live show.

As she criticised Paddy, she said he was the one performer who didn’t deserve to go through to next week’s final.

Paddy’s mentor Kian Egan reacted angrily to Jamelia’s comments, but she was backed by Bressie who accused Paddy of playing safe by singing top 20 songs.

Bressie said Paddy wasn’t taking enough risks.

And after getting low scores from the judges, the public vote wasn’t enough to keep him in the competition and send him into next week’s final.

“I’ve done this for my town and my county and I’m so glad to get this far,” said Paddy as he found out he was going home tonight.

His mentor Kian – who lost both of his singers including Jay – said the wrong decision had been taken.
