gorse fahan john dohertyBUNCRANA fire crews have put out a gorse blaze in Inishowen.

Two fires raged for a time this afternoon close to the marina at Fahan as temperatures in Donegal soared to 17C!

It follows gorse fires in other parts of Donegal last week.

The Fahan blaze wasn’t too serious and was brought under control quickly by fire crews.

Donegal County Council has warned people to be careful when out and about as the mild weather continues.
