Brian McCabe and Plilomena Gallagher win Race 2 of club 5k Spring Series
Friday evening last was warm, sunny and calm as Race 2 of the Tir Chonaill AC Spring series got away from starter Richard McCarthy’s whistle. Brian McCabe and Philomena Gallagher were impressive winners. Following the usual hospitality, club V.Chairman made presentations to 15 winners and thanked the various members of the organising group for ensuring the event was run safely and all participants had an enjoyable and challenging experience. He concluded ‘ I wish to thank all of you for participating tonight – to the group that laid out and stewarded the course – including the Gardai, to the group that looked after registrations ime keeping and results and finally to those that provided the very welcome hospitality’

Success for club athletes at Carney 10k
Congrats and really well done to all our athletes at the Carney 10k on Monday last. The race was ran in glorious, warm sunshine and with a cooling breeze on the last 2k, making it a very pleasant experience. There were some category prizes, several pb’s and all with great performances. The Ardara 10k on Sunday next is the next outing for the clubs road group. It’s a one o’clock start and Donal Haughey guarantees a war m welcome and a well organised event
Cara Bundoran 10 2014 present €15,000 to chosen charities
At a recent presentation function in Ballyshannon €15,000 – the profits from the recent very successful, well organised and supported Cara Bundoran 10 2014 – the event attracted 1,500 runners/walkers to the seaside town on March 1st 2014 — was made to the following groups/charities
