GAA NEWS: GLENSWILLY U14s WIN LEAGUE FINAL

The next monthly meeting will take place in the Clubhouse on Monday May 26th at 9pm.Glenswilly GAA Club

The Lotto winner this week is Roger Mc Daid with winning nimbers 6,8,10,12. The jackpot now stands at an inviting €4400.

Congratulations to our under14 boys who won the League final last Wednesday evening with an impressive win over a much fancied Downings Team. There was fantastic scenes at the Club house when the boys brought the first Club Trophy of the year back to the Glen. Congratulations to all the boys and girls who made their Holy Communion at the Clubhouse last Saturday morning. A special thanks to all those who helped get the hall ready for such a joyous occasion.

Last Sunday the the 11th was a busy day at home with Termon the visitors, First up was the ladies who recorded a fine victory in their first league outing with a score of 6-8 to 2-4, The Reserves beat Termon by 2-12 to 1-10 and finally The Seniors overcame a good Termon team with four points to spare. Next up for the Seniors and Reserves is an away fixture to Malin on Sunday May 18th at 1.30 and 3pm. The Thirds are away this Saturday the 17th to our neighbours St. Eunans with a throw in at 7.30pm.

The under 16s also face St.Eunans at home this Friday the 16th with throw in at 7pm. The Manager has asked all players to be at the Clunhouse at 6pm. sharp.

The U12 boys enjoyed good wins in the league against neighbours Letterkenny Gaels in what were two very sporting games.
