GARDA OFFICERA SUSPECT has been arrested by Gardai and two people treated for minor injuries after a high speed car chase.

The incident in the Finn Valley led to a Garda alert last evening.

A vehicle later crashed near Killygordon.

As Gardaí continued their extensive operation a man was seen fleeing the scene of the crash and officers gave pursuit.

A man was later arrested.

It’s understood a suspect was taken to Letterkenny Garda Station for questioning about a number of alleged motoring offences including drink-driving, speeding, driving a stolen vehicle and leaving the scene of an accident.
