Micheál Cholm Mac Giolla Easbuig has welcomed the start of work on the Glen Road in Annagry but has called on the County Council to ensure that the remainder of the road is also repaired.  michael

The Independent candidate told Donegal Daily, “It is good news that the Glen Road will receive some attention.

“It is long overdue, and very much needed and I welcome it.

“I also want to see the remainder of this road now repaired instead of being maintained on a patch by patch basis and I am calling on this Council to ensure that is done in the near future.”

“No doubt there will councillors falling over themselves to claim credit for this but the truth is the road would have been done anyway.

“It is only right that roads are done on a needs basis and not on the basis of whichever political party holds sway in an area.

“After all it’s good roads we need not political one-upmanship.
