ELECTION 2014: BROGAN TOPPING POLL IN LETTERKENNY/MILFORD BUT McMONAGLE CLOSE BEHIND

It is early days but Fianna Fail’s Ciaran Brogan looks like he will top the poll in the Letterkenny/Milford area.

But the big news is how strong Sinn Fein’s Gerry McMonagle is polling coming in behind Brogan.

Also polling well in the early tallies are Fine Gael’s Jimmy Kavanagh, Independent John O’Donnell and also local solicitor Dessie Shiels.

It is early days yet but it looks as if those could surge ahead and leave a huge battle for the last seats.

We will bring you more as the boxes are opened at the sorting centre at the Aura Centre in Letterkenny.
