ELECTION 2014: FINE GAEL TAKE HAMMERING IN INISHOWEN

FINE Gael are in trouble in Inishowen, according to tallies from the main parties.

Fine Gael's Mickey Doherty is in real trouble in Inishowen.

Sinn Fein’s Jack Murray and Ciaran McLaughlin are looking certain to take two seats, with Albert Doherty battling with Fine Gael’s John Ryan for the last seat.

Fianna Fail’s Martin McDermott will tak a seat on the first count in Inishowen.

At this stage it is looking good for Sinn Fein with only Fine Gael’s Bernard McGuinness guaranteed a seat for his party.

Labour’s Martin Farren and independent Nicholas Crossan are also polling well.

Tallies show that Sinn Fein could land three seats – up from one – with Fianna Fail taking three seats.

Tally prediction:

Fianna Fail = 3

Sinn Fein = 2

Labour = 1

Independent = 1

Fine Gael = 1

Last seat between Albert Doherty (Sinn Fein) and John Ryan (Fine Gael)

Mickey Doherty, Fine Gael, has polled “very poorly” admit party tally people.
