DDTV: See footage of John O’Donnell and his supporters celebrating as he is formally elected a Donegal County Councillor for the Letterkenny/Milford electoral area.

John, who is just 33, takes a seat on the council once held by both his father and his mother.

His dad Eddie served on the council from 1985 until his death in an accident in 1993. John’s mother was a councillor until 1999.
