Red Hughs GAA Notes

Senior Men

The senior and reserve had no games at the weekend.  red hughs

Their next game is away to Carndonagh this Saturday Throw in 7.30pm

Training continues for seniors, reserves and minors on Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30

Senior Ladies

The ladies had no games at the weekend and will not have any until all the exams are over.

Training continues on Mondays & Thursdays at 7.30

Under 8 Boys & Girl

They are playing their next blitz this Saturday In Termon bus leaving pitch at 9.30am. Bring lunch and €2 for the bus.

Under 10 Boys & Girls

The boys and girls played their first blitz of the year on Saturday in Glenswilly.They had two teams competing on the day. They all had a great day out and everyone got a piece of the action. Well done boys and girls. Next blitz is on Saturday the 7th of June. T.BC.

Under 12 Boys

The young lads played their second game at home on Tuesday evening last v Lifford. They put in a sterling performance to win on the night. Well done lads
Their next game is at home this Monday v local rivals Robert Emmets.

Under 14 Girls

The U14 girls played away to Milford on Thursday last. The girls put in a great effort against a very strong team but unfortunately tonight just wasn’t their night. They never let their heads down or give up and were unlucky with a few scoring chances. They are a great team of young players whom have great fight and determination in every match. They should all be very proud of themselves. Onwards and upwards. Red Hughs ABU

The training for the girls is cancelled this Wednesday. Back as normal next week.

Training continues as normal for both. Action resumes after Junior & Leaving Cert exams.

Club House Activities

The Zumba is on Summer break and will resume later in the year.

The Ceile dancing is cancelled this Tuesday due to the Creamery 5k taking place. Back on next Tuesday as normal.

The jiving continues on Thursday at 8pm

Sypmathy

The club would like to extend their sympathy to the Conaghan family Teivebrack on their recent bereavement.

Other News

Concussion Awareness

Ulster GAA are delivering concussion awareness workshops next week in each county across the province.
This is an extremely important information evening for all club coaches and parents and anyone that may have an interest in this area. It is important that as many as possible attend these workshops so we can disseminate the information.

The Donegal workshop will be in Glenswilly GAC on Wednesday 21st May, 7:30pm.

Cake Sale

The U12 and U14 girls are hosting a coffee morning/cake sale on Sunday 8th June in the Red Hughs clubhouse and we need your help. If you can bake or if you know anyone who can bake and would like to help the girls out then please contact Maura Mc Crudden or Sabrina White. All help would be very much appreciated

Minor Board

There is an important meeting of the Minor Board in the club house at 9pm on Wednesday please attend.

Underage Training continues on Saturday mornings at 11am for all Boys and Girls from under 6 to under 12.
