Irish Water Safety will carry out both Swimming Lessons and Safety & Rescue training in the Keadue and Cruit areas as usual this summer.
Dates have been confirmed as follows: Week one begins on Monday 14th July and the second week begins week beginning the 11th August.
Children may attend lessons for both weeks or choose one week which suits them best.
Swim lessons will happen at the block yard beach in Keadue from 10 each morning and are suitable for children aged from around 4 upwards.
Registration will take place from 9.30 on both Monday mornings.
Safety and rescue training will take place at the bridge in Cruit from 1, and is suitable for children over 12 years of age who are competent swimmers.
Registration will take place at the bridge from one.
Cost per child for weekly sessions are €30.
Scrap Metal Collection – Fundraiser.
A scrap Metal Collection is taking place over the bank holiday weekrnd at the pier in Burtonport in aid of The Old Railway Walk.
You can drop it off at from Friday onwards to our skip which will be placed at the harbour by the factories over the weekend.
