NEIL BARRETT LAUNCHES ‘FIT-HUB’ – A NEW ONE-STOP FITNESS FACILITY FOR DONEGAL

Fit-Hub, a new facility dedicated to the long term change of health, fitness and nutrition opened its doors to the public on the Tuesday 3rd of June 2014. unit4-fit-hub

Based at the Mountain Top, Fit-Hub is the brainchild of local fitness expert and lecturer, Neil Barrett MSc. who is also an internationally experienced and accredited nutritionist, fitness practitioner and strength and conditioning coach.

Neil explained his vision for his exciting new venture, he told Donegal Daily, “Fit-Hub brings together the most qualified local fitness and nutritional experts under one roof.

“We aim to provide members with a comprehensive and holistic approach to making lasting changes to their fitness, health, well-being.

Barrett continued, “With the growth in obesity levels affecting the population, it is important that we all take time to consider our eating habits and levels of activity to ensure that we make even small changes towards a healthier lifestyle for long-term health benefits.

“At Fit-Hub we are only too aware that the hardest part of making this change is taking the first steps towards a healthier lifestyle and we will fully support our clients in a number of unique ways.

“All the staff at Fit-Hub are experienced and accredited in their particular field of sport science and nutrition.

“We will keep class sizes small to ensure a personalised and engaging experience, we will provide a full service for clients as they progress on their journey towards a fitter and healthier lifestyle.

“In addition, Fit-Hub promotes a community of fitness approach supported through classes, information events, and social networking to ensure that clients remain motivated and committed delivering lasting results.

To celebrate the opening of Fit – Hub, Neil is offering free taster classes to the public from the 3rd- 6th of June.

Neil added, “Fit-Hub is committed to providing personalised results based programmes designed to suit all levels of fitness.

“We are offering a large range of classes, from ‘Boot camps’ for young professionals to ‘Boot camps’ for parents, we also will be providing ‘Mobility/Movement’ classes for our more mature clients.

“In addition, to the exciting range of classes, Fit-Hub will provide one-to-one consultations with clients to assess current fitness levels and develop a personalised fitness and nutrition plan tofocus them on taking the first steps to changing their approach to their long-term health and well-being.
