FORGET the Yellow Jersey – or even the Pink Jersey!
The only place to be this Saturday when it comes to cycling is in Le Tour De Diamond – Donegal Town’s annual charity 24-hour cycle.
And as you may have guessed, it doesn’t actually leave the centre of the town!
It’s all part of fundraising by the Parents Association for Scoil Aodh Rua agus Nuala in Donegal Town.
Le Tour starts at 4pm on Friday and finishes at 4pm on Saturday. The aim of the cycle is to raise funds for new computers, literacy, numeracy & PE Equipment.
This is the 2nd year of the 24 hour cycle and last year parents raised more than €4,000!
