An understrength Donegal side were well-beaten by Down in the Ulster Senior Hurling Championship quarter final today.

Ray Durack’s side never really got going and eventually lost 1-31 to 0-10.

Donegal went in at half-time trailing 1-16 to 0-7 and the game was already over as a contest.
