Sales Advisor (On-Boarder)

Location: Letterkenny, Co Donegal

Farmflo provides cloud-based software that seamlessly integrates into the farmers’ working day by harnesses technology to reduce the additional administrative burden.

Saving the farmer many hours of labour intensive administrative work per week and providing peace of mind knowing their compliance and information provision requirements are being taken care of.

As a Sales Advisor / On-boarding Specialist with Farmflo you will guide farmers smoothly through the set up and on-boarding process ensuring that all the Farmflo product benefits are fully utilised.

You will also be responsible for ensuring farmers are confident and comfortable in the daily use of the Farmflo tool.

You will also be required to actively reach out to farmers to encourage them to register for a free trial and to provide support and assistance as they progress through the on boarding process.

You will report to the Head of Sales and work closely with all areas of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Contacting farmers who have signed up for a Farmflo free trial and lead them through the setup process

• Train farmers on how to use Farmflo

• Contact farmers and encourage them to sign up to Farmflo free trial

• Follow up with farmers to ensure they are actively using the Farmflo product and that they are seeing the value that Farmflo brings.

• Convert farmers from trial users to active paying users

• Map the farmers needs to deliverables whilst demonstrating advanced customer service skills

Required Skills and Experience

• In depth knowledge of farming

• Ability to patiently guide farmers through the set up process being mindful of the fact that some may not be particularly familiar with technology

• You will be confident leading farmers to a solution and be able to put farmers at ease

• Fluent in English with the ability to explain technical concepts in a non-technical way

• Friendly, quick-thinking, responsive, calm and patient

• Articulate and numerate with excellent written English

• Comfortable with IT systems, including strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel

• Ability to learn new IT tools and systems such as Zendesk and CRM and other support systems

• You will be commercially aware, able to observe a farmer’s business process and make recommendations were appropriate.

Job Description

Channel Sales Executive

Location: Ireland

Saving the farmer many hours of labour intensive administrative work per week and providing peace of mind knowing their compliance and information provision requirements are being taken care of.

We are seeking to hire a highly dynamic and organised individual, to develop and build relationships, help us drive revenue and growth, but more importantly help prospective and existing partners succeed at supporting their farmers.

This position will report directly to the Head of Sales and will work closely with all areas of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with Farmflo senior management to build a channel of recommenders within the farming industry that actively promote Farmflo to their network.

• Engage with recommender organisations to create and execute on go to market plans, to get the Farmflo message to their members and customers.

• Establish contact with new customers, promoting company offers and negotiating and closing customer contracts.

• Networking and relationship development with clients, prospects and industry partners

• Build the go-to-market plans and drive revenue and volume.

• Track sales impact of recommender organisations.

• Report impact of recommender organisations to Farmflo management team.

Required Skills and Experience

• A successful track record of developing business directly within the farming community

• Strong working knowledge of the Agriculture market within Ireland

• Proven ability to create and execute on affiliate marketing programmes.

• In depth understanding of arable, beef, sheep, dairy farming practices or combination thereof.

• In depth understanding of compliance challenges faced by farmers today.

• Understanding of the business of farming, where farming incomes come from and what costs are typically incurred.

• Working knowledge of typical recommender organisations including farming associations, government bodies, banks and accounting firms.

• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills along with the ability to empathise with farmers and earn their respect

• Excellent organisational and planning skills, with excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills

• Willing to travel throughout Ireland and UK

• Full Driving License

Beneficial

• Working familiarity with IT systems including usage of browser based software, tablets and mobiles.

• History of living and working on a farm.

• Familiarity with online marketing.
