UNDERAGE FOOTBALL

Cul camp time of year again. All families should have received a cul camp registration form through their schools. Closing date to register is Saturday 14th June. If anyone did not receive a form, they will be available on Saturday morning’s training. Parents can also register online by visiting www.gaa.ie kelloggsculcamps

Gaelic for girls continues on Wednesday evenings from 3.45 until 4.45 for the next two weeks.

Players of the week for this week were U8 Finn Doherty and Thomas Ferry.

U16 BOYS

The under 16 boys will play in the Inishowen A Final on Sunday in Burt at 7.30pm. They will play against local rivals Muff in what is expected to be a very tough and close encounter. The boys have put in a great effort this year and we would appeal to all members to come out and support the boys on Sunday evening as they bid to take home the Inishowen title for the first time in a number of years. Training for the team will continue on Friday at 6pm in preparation for the game.

MINOR BOYS

The minor boys made the long trip to St. Micheal’s on Monday evening for the first round of their championship group stage. Unfortunately they suffered a heavy defeat in this first round by 4-11 to 1-04. Best for Moville on the night were Tony McClenaghan and Ciaran Diver, with Connor Doherty who scored 1-02 late in the game. Minor boys should be attending Senior/Reserve training with Gerard if they are over 16.

U14 GIRLS

The U14 girls will contest the county semi-final on Tuesday 24th June at 7.30pm in Carrick Field. The club would like to wish them the best of luck and encourage as many members as possible to come along and support. Remember, nothing beats being there!

SENIOR MEN

The Senior Men’s fine run of form continued over the weekend after a successful journey to Castlefin to take on Robert Emmet’s in the Division 4 league encounter. Malachy McDermott was on fine form with a personal tally of 2-04 as the boys in blue won by a convincing score of 3-10 to 1-07. The senior reserves lined up against Robert Emmet’s in the following game but unfortunately missed out, losing by a score of 2-10 to 1-08. Senior training will take place this week on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:45pm.

The first round of the championship may take place this weekend, details will be o the club facebook page.

SENIOR LADIES

The senior ladies playing with a under strength team after a combination of injuries & holidays suffered a defeat to Termon on Wednesday evening. This is mostly a very young team who in time will no doubt be able to compete with any team.
