Donkey 1Donegal Donkey Sanctuary are running a fundraising barn dance this Friday night July the 4th to help towards replacement of vital equipment stolen in a robbery at their premises in early April.

Supporters may remember that lots of equipment, such as the quad trailer and feed barrow along with a lot of smaller day to day animal handling equipment were heartlessly taken from the sanctuary buildings as well as extensive amounts of items from the family home.

The Barn Dance, which has an American Independence Day theme will be held in the new barn and is an opportunity for people have a look at the facilities available at the centre and get some idea of how it operates to rescue and rehome hundreds of otherwise unwanted animals.

Music is by the very popular David Craig and his Band with supporting disco.

BBQ and bar on the night, starting at 10pm ‘til late!

Garth Brooks tickets to be raffled on the night, western style dress optional!

So come on cowboys and cowgirls join the fun this weekend and make it a night to remember!

See you there! 🙂
