BREAKING NEWS: Thousands of Garth Brooks fans from Co Donegal have been left devastated after the singing superstar was granted permission for just THREE of his FIVE concerts at Croke Park.

Thousands of Donegal fans may not now get to see Garth Brooks.

Thousands of Donegal fans may not now get to see Garth Brooks.

The move comes despite the fact that country superstar has sold out all concerts at GAA Headquarters, with 400,000 tickets sold in record time.

It’s understood the decision to grant permission for just three concerts was made this morning.

It means that 150,000 fans may now be left devastated by the news.

It is understood the Friday, Saturday and Sunday concerts will still go ahead but there is serious doubt over the Monday and Tuesday gigs.

The issue may be appealed to the courts.

Many of those who got the golden tickets queued for days in Donegal for the tickets.

It is not clear at this stage what will happen to the remaining two concerts and on what dates the concerts will be affected.

There has been speculation that two of the concerts could be moved to another location, such as the Aviva or the RDS.

However, sources said last night that such a move would be logistically impossible.

Sources in the GAA said it would “not be feasible” to move the concert stage from one side of the city to another as the concerts are being held five nights in a row.
