National Youth Orchestra of Ireland Summer Proms 2014
Young Falcarragh musician Conor Murray will take centre stage with the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland at An Grianan Theatre, Letterkenny on Friday evening.
Conducted by internationally renowned Chinese conductor En Shao, the orchestra presents an ambitious programme as part of its Summer Proms tour including Rachmaninov’s second symphony and Rimsky-Korsakov’s overture to The Tsar’s Bride.

Multiple prizewinning German violist Nils Mönkemeyer joins the orchestra as soloist for Walton’s viola concerto.
This is an opportunity to see Ireland’s finest talent come together in an all-island ensemble.
