Many of us have climbed Errigal over the years.

But one well-known Donegal man is preparing to tackle the iconic mountain for an amazing 1000th time!
And Carrickfin man Anrai O Domhnaill (Henry O’Donnell) is inviting an many people to come along as possible.
Henry is hoping that all those who take up the challenge will donate €10 to a very worthy cause.
All the money raised will go towards funding a new 4×4 team vehicle for the Donegal Mountain Rescue team.
Already €1,150 has been raised through pledges and many more are pouring in.
The event itself does not take place until August 2nd so there is plenty of time to warm up and get in shape.
A choice of easy, moderate and summit hikes will be available to suit all fitness levels.
Live trad music, craic, guest speakers and a colour certificate to every participant is guaranteed on the day.
