Tir Chonaill Gaels Club Notes:
Seniors:
The senior team started their championship campaign last Sunday against Neasden Gaels at Ruislip and left with a disappointing result.
Neasden got the better of us to record a one point win, and in doing so putting us under pressure to win our remaining two games to have a chance of qualifying for the semis.
Some of the better performances on the day came from Brian Ross, Mark Gottsche and Joe Feeney. Final Score TCG 2-8 Neasden Gaels 1-12.
Juniors:
Our junior team had a mighty battle against Eir Og last Saturday at Greenford but came out the wrong side of a two point defeat. We just could not manage to get our noses in front and fought to the very end but it was not to be.
Best on the day were Cormac McGarvey, Kevin Mc Fadden, Patrick O’Connor and Kevin Browne. Final Score TCG 1-9, Eir Og 1-11.
