Final score on Sunday last in Rosses Park was the Senior Teams An clochan liath 2-14 Naomh Muire 1-7 and Reserve Teams 3-17 Naomh Muire 0-5.

Just to note this was the 1st time the new changing rooms were used for the senior teams and credit goes to Paul Gillespie and his men on a fantastic job.

Four new dressing rooms and a function room up-stairs for the tea & sandwiches.

So a well done to everyone along the way who contributed to this worth while project and give the club a great focal point for the community of Dungloe.

Dungloe U12 Hurlers commenced their League campaign with a hard away draw to Ballyshannon on Thursday last.

The league will involve approx ten games with a game every Thursday throughout July and August and early September.

U12 training is at the field in Tuesdays at 4.45.

Dungloe struggled in the first half with some players making their hurling debut but Dungloe steadily improved as the game went on and held their own in the second half.

Ballyshannon accumulated too many scores in the first half however and were not going to be caught.

Dungloe had a lot of players absent on holidays and there a few new players yet to come into the panel and like the U14s of 2013 it will be a building process.

Praise goes to Jack Walsh, Michael McNulty, Brendan O’Donnell making his debut, Gerard Glackin, Philip Noble, Neil Noble, Darcy Walsh, Ben Boyle (captain), Conor Hunter, Evan Forker and Odhran McGonagle.

Both Dungloe U8 and U10 hurlers were in action at an all County Blitz last Sunday at the centre of excellence in convoy.

Charlie Ferry is the principal coach of the U8s and was very pleased with the teams performance with Dungloe playing 7 games and winning 5.

Notable for Dungloe U8s were Cianan McDaid, Joseph Doherty Michael O’Donnell and Conal and Liam ferry.

PJ Walsh is the principal coach with the U10s who had some hard games in a very competitive U10s section with Dungloe again winning most of their games but more importantly trying hard, learning and enjoying it all.

Notable for Dungloe were Karl McGee, Eoghan Walsh, john James Blaney , Notable for Dungloe were Karl McGee, Eoghan Walsh, John James Blaney, Cianan Bonner, John Paul Bonner, Evan McFadden, Jack Treacey and Damian McGowan.

Well done to all the players’ coaches and helpers and to Paddy McGowan in assisting PJ and Charlie in the organization.

Next blitz for U8s and U10s should be within 2/3 weeks.
