A large crowd is expected to descend on the GAA grounds at the Bridge in Dunfanaghy today, as St Michaels GAA club host the ‘Runegal in Donegal’.

Participants face the daunting task of taking on the Hornhead 10K challenge.

It promises to be a great day with plenty of fun activities for the family.

There will be bouncy castles for the kids and face painting at the GAA grounds.

While after the race competitors can relax and unwind by enjoying music and a BBQ.

The race kicks off at 2pm, but registration for the event starts at 12.30pm.

It’s €5 for kids and €10 for adults.
